About Us
Founded in 1959, ​the Santa Clara Valley Veterinary Medical Association is a 501(c)(6) entity comprised of veterinarians who care for the pets and domestic animal populations of Santa Clara County and the surrounding area.
The purpose of this association is to advance the art and science of veterinary medicine, to propagate a collegiate spirit among its members, to elevate the standards of the profession, and to provide quality continuing education and well-being programs.
The SCVVMA is a Statutorily Approved Veterinary Continuing Education Provider recognized by the California Veterinary Medical Board in accordance with Business and Professions code Section 4846.5.
Our Association is affiliated with and represented in the California Veterinary Medical Association.
